GENERAL TERMS
- These terms set forth the Payment Terms & Conditions for all learners (whether sponsored or self-funded) who enroll in any Tynexia programmes offered by Tynexia Limited and/or its affiliates (“Tynexia”) available here (“Tynexia Programmes”).
1.2 These Payment Terms and Conditions (“Payment Terms”) apply to:
1.2.1 Learners who register for Tynexia Programmes;
1.2.2 Learners who are successfully accepted into the Tynexia Programmes.
1.3 By enrolling in a programme, learners agree to abide by these terms.
2. ONE-TIME PAYMENT FEE
2.1 All successfully accepted learners (fully sponsored) will be charged a one-time non-refundable payment fee of 5,000 Naira to confirm their enrollment in the programme.
The one-time payment provides access to Tynexia Tech Hubs, the Tynexia community, events, infrastructure, and learning systems. It does not cover any partner eligibility requirements or application fees that may arise afterwards.
2.2 The details regarding the one-time payment fee are as follows:

3. PAYMENT TERMS
3.1 The one-time payment is due before the final date of enrollment.
3.2 Payment Methods
3.2.1 Accepted applicants will receive an automatically generated invoice that includes a payment link from one of our recognized payment gateways.
3.2.2 Accepted payment methods include VISA, Mastercard, and American Express. In some regions, mobile or cash payments may also be accepted. Tynexia reserves the right to change these payment methods at any time and will strive to give learners a 90-day notice of any changes. Learners may switch between accepted payment methods at any time.
3.2.3 Other accepted payment methods may include local options like FLUTTER WAVE, KORA PAY, but responsibility for any issues related to those payments rests with Tynexia.
3.2.4 Tynexia will communicate with applicants via email or notifications when all fees have been received. The responsibility lies with learners to ensure that Tynexia has received their payments. If payments are not made on time, learners will lose access to their courses. To maintain course access, all payments must be timely.
3.3 Specific Terms for Tynexia Programmes:
3.3.1 Access to services offered by Tynexia is at Tynexia’s discretion, particularly concerning referrals to partners and partner universities.
3.3.2 The total one-time payment must be completed for learners to receive the Tynexia Certificate of Completion and gain access to partner services.
3.3.3 Tynexia may withhold access to the Programme and any certificates if all fees are not paid before completion. Subsequent payment after program completion does not guarantee the reinstatement of benefits except for the certificate.
3.3.4 Learners understand that non-payment or late payments breach these terms, allowing Tynexia to withhold services without any obligation to refund previously paid amounts.
4. VARIATIONS/PROMOTIONS
4.1 Tynexia reserves the right to adjust fees and run promotions. Learners will be notified of any price changes, which will not affect those who registered prior to the changes.
4.2 There may be ongoing changes to the programme structure, which can affect costs for future cohorts.
5. CANCELLATION OR RESCHEDULING
5.1 Cancellation/Rescheduling by the Learner
5.1.1 A learner cancelling/rescheduling more than seven days before the programme start date can receive a refund or reschedule without penalty. Fees are non-refundable once the programme starts.
5.1.2 A learner cancelling/rescheduling on or after seven days before the start date is not eligible for a refund, though deferrals may be considered pending approval and potential penalties.
5.1.3 Rescheduling requests must specify a future date and must be coordinated with Tynexia, restricted to one time for the same programme and within twelve months of the original date.
5.2 Cancellation/Rescheduling by Tynexia
5.2.1 Tynexia may cancel or reschedule any programme at its discretion, including for Force Majeure events. A minimum of seven days’ notice will be provided when possible, but cancellation may occur without warning.
5.2.2 Fees paid will be refunded if a programme is affected by a Force Majeure event.
5.2.3 If cancelled for other reasons, Tynexia will refund learners or provide credits upon request.
5.2.4 Tynexia assumes no liability for any costs incurred from cancellations or rescheduling.
6. SUBSTITUTION OF LEARNERS
6.1 Substitutions of one learner for another in any specific enrollment are NOT permitted.
7. DISCLAIMER, LIMITATION OF LIABILITY, AND INDEMNITY
7.1 No Warranty
7.1.1 Tynexia makes no representations or warranties about the Tynexia Programmes or payment methods, including that the courses or methods will be uninterrupted or error-free. Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
7.2 Limitation of Liability
7.2.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tynexia and its affiliates will not assume liability for claims or losses due to:
7.2.1.1 Programme cancellations or rescheduling;
7.2.1.2 Failed payments;
7.2.1.3 Learners’ failure to confirm receipt of payments;
7.2.1.4 Incorrect payment details;
7.2.1.5 Learner misconduct or inaccuracies;
7.2.1.6 Actions or omissions by third parties.
7.2.2 Tynexia will not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages and is not liable beyond the total fees paid by learners for the services/programmes.
8. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION
8.1 Regardless of the learner’s country of residence, these terms shall be governed by the laws of Nigeria.
8.2 Learners agree that any claims will be litigated only in Nigeria.
9. OTHER IMPORTANT TERMS
9.1 If a court finds any part of these terms unenforceable, it may modify the terms to align with their intent.
9.2 These terms constitute the entire agreement between learners and Tynexia regarding Tynexia Programmes and supersede all prior agreements.
9.3 Failure by Tynexia to enforce these terms does not waive its rights.
9.4 Learners may not transfer their rights without Tynexia’s consent, but Tynexia may assign these terms to affiliates.
9.5 Waivers of terms must be in writing and do not affect any other rights.
